Each Flu Season is different from year to year and there is no real way to predict what it will be like. While the flu does spread from year to year, the length of the season and the severity differ from one year to another. Most flu activity happens between October and May and should be taken seriously. This infographic not only shares some of the stats, but also symptoms, the timeline and what you can do to protect you and your family.

Dr. Hamann is board certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida HSC, Jacksonville, Florida.
