GuideWell Emergency Doctors works with local cardiologists, obstetricians, pulmonologists, and oncologists to support the after-hours, urgent, and emergency care needs of their patients in 1/2 the time1 and at 1/3 the cost2 of the average hospital ER visit.

Emergency obstetric care

From nausea and vomiting to cramping, bleeding, or fever, we provide the highest level of urgent and emergency care for pregnant patients up to 20 weeks.

  • On-site ultrasound with final reads in 60 minutes or less
  • Pregnancy testing including beta quantitative HCGs and urinalysis
  • IV fluids for dehydration, nausea and vomiting

Specialized care for oncology patients

Whether you’re dealing with the effects of chemotherapy or radiation or an unrelated injury or illness, our emergency care team has years of experience providing the specialized care you need.

  • Avoid unnecessary waiting room exposure--Oncology patients are immediately escorted to a private room.
  • Comfortable and private patient rooms with heated blankets, TV, and free Wi-Fi
  • IV meds for nausea, vomiting, and dehydration

COPD treatment and therapy

We offer specialized respiratory care protocols for patients suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

  • ER-level on-site laboratory testing
  • Chest X-ray and chest CT with readings in 60 minutes or less
  • Bronchodilators, steroids, and oxygen
  • Home oxygen setup with portable oxygen tanks at discharge

Heart attack and chronic heart failure treatment

Our staff are specially trained to recognize and accurately diagnose the early signs of heart failure and immediately treat the symptoms of chronic or congestive heart failure (CHF) on-site with our cardiologist-approved CHF protocol.

  • Chest imaging and chest CT scan
  • Centralized cardiac monitoring with EKG and crash cart
  • I.V. diuretics, nitroglycerin, antihypertensives, and bronchodilators
