Our doctors are board certified emergency medicine physicians and have over 96 combined years of experience providing emergency care to patients.
John Murray, M.D., ABEM, FACEP
Dr. Murray is board certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He received his Medical Doctorate from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and completed his residency and internship at the University of Alabama DCH Regional Medical Center. Dr. Murray is a Florida native, born and raised in Orlando. He serves as Chief Medical Officer for FL-6, a federal medical disaster relief team and has been deployed to ground zero in New York City after 911, as well as had two deployments to Louisiana and Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina. He also spent time in Bosnia, following the end of hostilities, seeing patients in the Emergency Department and teaching emergency medicine.
Christopher Hamann, M.D., ABEM, ACEP
Dr. Hamann is board certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida HSC, Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Hamann has held positions as Staff Physician at Cleveland Clinic Hospital-Naples and as Assistant Director of Emergency Medicine at Physicians Regional Medical System in Naples, Florida. Dr. Hamann has many interests including architecture, landscape design, surfing, paddle boarding, mountain biking, cooking, and baking. He and his wife, Lisa, have two daughters.
Beatriz Colon, M.D., ABEM
Dr. Colon is board certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico Medical School and completed her residency at the UPR Hospital and Puerto Rico Medical Center. Dr. Colon held the position of Staff Physician in various hospitals in Central Florida and as a locums provider for the Seattle VA and other hospitals in Florida. Dr. Colon enjoys traveling, going to the beach and theme parks, dancing, and photography.
Joseph Deluca, M.D., ABEM, FAAEM
Dr. DeLuca is board-certified with the America Board of Emergency Medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. In addition to Emergency Medicine he has advanced training in both Internal Medicine and Aerospace Medicine. He received his Medical Doctorate from the Universidad Nordestana, Dominican Republic and completed his residency and internship at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn New York. He practiced Emergency Medicine in New York and New Jersey until 2007, when he moved to Florida. In addition to his civilian medical career, Dr. deLuca recently retired from the USAF as a Colonel, where he served as Senior Medical Advisor for the Secretary of the Air Force in Washington, DC. Prior to that he was a Medical Group Commander and Senior Flight Surgeon, who deployed to the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, Arctic and Antarctic circles. He is a graduate of the USAF Air War College, with interests in SCUBA diving, flying, and new business/property development for distressed local communities. He and his wife, Diane, have three daughters.
Nicholas Dodaro, M.D., ABEM, FACEP
Dr. Dodaro is board certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is a graduate of Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. His residency training included an internship at Georgetown University in Internal Medicine followed by Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida HSC Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Dodaro still enjoys seeing patients in all Crucial Care facilities and serves in a variety of leadership and management roles throughout the organization. He has held privileges in a variety of settings, such as private hospitals, free standing Emergency Departments, and Academic Medical Centers. He is actively involved in the growth and development of the Crucial Care Management Services based in Jacksonville. Dr. Dodaro enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
Richard Houle, M.D., ABEM, FACEP
Dr. Houle is board-certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is a graduate of the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine. His residency training in Emergency Medicine was completed at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and at the University Of Louisville School Of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky, where he also completed his fellowship as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Houle served as a General Medical Officer in the U.S. Army and in Emergency Medicine at Madigan Army Hospital at Fort Lewis, Washington. He currently also serves as staff physician at University of Central Florida and at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Dr. Houle’s hobbies include bow hunting and volunteering for Catholic Missions in the Dominican Republic. His wife, Diana, is a Nurse Practitioner and he has 3 grown children.
